Sketch Frenzy Friday - July 30th, 2010

TGIF!! I am soooo glad Friday is finally here! I can't wait to spend the evening with my son, and the day with my girlfriend Heather on Saturday! YAY for weekends!!!

Friday ALSO means it is Sketch Frenzy Friday time.........and this time it was MY turn to come up with the sketch!! This is the very first time that I have ever done a sketch for others to use....so I am a little nervous! I really hope everyone had a fun time with it and I can't wait to see all the different interpretations of my sketch!!

Sooooo.......here is what I came up with for inspiration........

Sketch Frenzy Friday - July 23rd, 2010

It's Friday again! Holy smokes the weeks are just flying by!! I can't believe we are already nearing the end of July! Where is summer going so fast?!?!

Friday means it's Sketch Frenzy time! W00t! Here is this week's sketch...



And here is what I was inspired to create...

I really like this one. It's so bright and vibrant and would make a great all occasion card! You could send it for so many reasons!! The color combo here is: Early Espresso, Real Red, Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight....with some base Whisper White thrown in too! I used one of the stamps from Circle Circus and the sentiment is from Hello Again. I used some Real Red Satin Ribbon and a couple of Rhinestones and finished it off with some dry embossing...aaaah sweet Big Shot....how I love you so :)

Stamp with Tess Tuesdays!!

It's Tuesday again....so that means it's time for another Stamp with Tess Tuesday Challenge!! Your mission.....should you choose to accept it....is to CASE one of the projects featured on the new Catalogue cover.....and use some OLD product on it!! And by old....I mean retired :) Of course, if you don't have anything left that has retired....then use your imagination! But I am willing to be we all have a stamp set or a piece of ribbon or SOMETHING retired!!

Here is the card that I made based on the "Friends" card featured on the new cover!!

I used retired paper and retired ribbon.......lord knows I have ALOT of retired stuff to use up! LOL! Now it's YOUR turn!! You have until Sunday evening to link me to your creations!!

More IS More Mondays!!

Happy Monday girls!! I hope you all had a wonderful and maybe even an INKY weekend!! :)

Starting today, and every Monday afterwards I am going to be posting More IS More Mondays...and I am hoping you will have a chance to play along too!! I will randomly have Blog Candy up for grabs for those who participate so pull out your stamps and get your hands dirty!!

For my first week, I decided to create a couple of Birthday cards. So here's how it works.....the first card I create will be very simple.....still nice to give/receive but just easy-peesy to throw together! And then, I will re-create that same card with a few extra elements and show you how you can really POP that same card and make a second with a WOW factor!!

So, here is my first "simple" card....


and now here is the same card again......but with some WOWZA added to it!

Sketch Frenzy Friday - July 16th

It's FRIDAY!! w00t w00t!! I am actually sitting in my car somewhere, on the highway.....off to BC!! I have pre-scheduled this post to show up for me today the night before!! How weird it is to be typing to you the night BEFORE......knowing you are reading the morning OF! (Quick.....someone tell me the lotto numbers!! HAHA!)

Perfect Punches...

Good afternoon Stampers!! I have just finished playing around with the LNS Sketch challenge for the week and thought I would show you what I came up with! I am ALMOST as in love with this new DSP as I am Concord Crush......but of course Purple ALWAYS takes the lead in my heart :)

I have also once again reached for that sentiment out of the new "Perfect Punches" Stamp set featured in the new catalogue....I love that Birthday sentiment as well! Have you seen the set?? It is soooo versatile!! And easy-peesy to use too, since it works with our punches!!

Anyhoo....I am off to put the finishing touches on my Card Buffet for this Saturday evening......I still have a few spots left too if you are thinking about joining us!!

My stamp room is now fully converted over to the new color collections and I am falling in love all over again :) Of course, I have a TON of paper and other goodies for sale too though! I am SOOOO in love with Concord Crush! I can't get enough of it! And I used one of the sets I got my hands on from the new catty too, called "Punched Posies." I am pretty sure that I will be using that set alot in the near future :)
