I am looking for some creative people to join my Scrapbooking Club from January to October!

I have been a Stampin Up demonstrator for 4 years now and love to help people learn new techniques and find their creativity! Even if you have never scrapbooked a single page but want to learn....this club is for you!

We will meet once a month on the second Saturday and do 3 layouts each month....1 double page layout and a single page layout!

In return you will commit to placing a minimum $35.00 order to collect your own scrapbooking supplies and each month one club member will receive the hostess credit based on that month's sales!

As well, each month the hostess will get to select one 12 x 12 album of their choice as my Thank You gift so that at the end of the 10 month club everyone will have completed 30 pages and have an album to put them in! Hi Girls!!

As I said in my last post I have been SUPER busy in my craft room the last few weeks. I have been creating like crazy! Decided to take a break and post a few more pics today of some of the cards I have made!!

Hiya girls!! As you read this I am on the road somewhere on my way to a weekend long scrapbook retreat!! I am sooooo excited and can't wait for some fun girly time!! That being said.......I completely forgot to make my SFF card BEFORE I packed up 1/2 my scrap room and I am not going to start unpacking!! I am however going to make the card while I am there this weekend and get it posted when I get home.

Another week.........come and gone! Less than one week until my girly weekend away!! w00t! I am off to a Scrapbook Retreat next weekend with some girlfriend's.......and I can't wait!! I have been counting sleeps for MONTHS!!

Onto this week's sketch frenzy Friday sketch........this is what we were given to play with this week!

At first glance, I was actually SCARED of this sketch. I had no idea what the heck I was gonna do with it!! And then the scrap heavens opened up and the lil' light came on and I made this gorgeous card in response!!

I love it when I start out feeling un-inspired and come up with a work of art! I LOVE this card :-)

TGIF!! What a long week this one has been! I am glad it is over! And it's a long weekend here in Canada too.....Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian blog readers!! My hubby has 2 days off and we get to spend some quality time together for the first time in months! I can't wait :)

On to SFF......Here is the sketch we were given to use this week!

I needed to make an Anniversary card for my Mother and Father in law.....and was in the mood to pull out my Brayer. So this is what I have come up with for this week!!

This is the third time that I have done one of these "scenic" color blending cards with my Brayer. I always LOVE how the turn out and I know that my mother in law is really going to love this one.....she loves all things nature :)

October 1st?!? How the heck did that happen?! I don't know about the rest of you but it feels like school just let out for the summer around here! At least we are enjoying some more unexpected sunshine :) And the colors outside right now are AMAZING!!!

Sketch Frenzy Friday - September 24th...

Aaaaah.......another week has come and gone! This week has been a tough one for me. It was very long. And very tiring. I have alot of workshops coming up and have been working towards building up my Stampin' business as well as the usual family "schtuff" and my health.

My highlight of the week was the Grey's Anatomy premier!! I was slightly disappointed with the episode itself......but am STOKED that one of my favorite shows ever is back on the air! w00t!!

OK......enough babbling :) Here is this week's sketch:

I opted for a Christmas card this time........I LOVE Christmas and I am really excited that it is getting closer :) I can't wait to start decorating my house!!

I used a couple of the in colors for this one.....Pear Pizazz & Poppy Parade (along with Basic Black and Whisper White) and the Candy Cane Christmas DSP. And I used the cute "Season of Joy" Christmas stamp set to tie it together. I love the "Fa La La La La" :)

Another week has come and gone and it's time for some Sketch Frenzy Friday inspiration! This is the sketch that we were given to play with this week:

I stuck to the current IN COLORS for this one with some Whisper White added...The stamp set that I used here is called "Just Believe" and is becoming one of my faves :) I have used the Concord Crush Poly Ribbon....and at first I wasn't sure how I felt about this ribbon. But now that I have had the chance to play.....well....all I can say is OOOOH-LA-LA!! And of course my beloved BigShot made an appearance for this one as well :)

Friday again already! I feel like every single SFF post starts the same way.........the weeks are flying by so fast I can't even believe it! Before we know it there will be snow on the ground and we will be getting ready for Christmas!!

Friday again! And time for another Sketch Frenzy Friday card! But before I get to that, I have to introduce tonight's helper. She has made an appearance before......but tonight her "HELP" was much appreciated! She was my official paper cutter guard!! Meet my fat cat.....Diesel :-) She seems to find her way to my side whenever I am crafting...and tonight was no exception!

I have once again reached for my Greenhouse Gala DSP and my favorite Concord Crush cardstock! I can't help it! I am sooooo in love with BOTH these papers!! And of course the satin ribbon, which I love and the very versatile Cute by the Inch Hostess set. I am falling more and more in love with this set too! :-)

Hi Girls! Can you believe we are already at the end of August?? I don't know where the summer went.....but I sure wish it would come back!! My son will be starting High School next Monday!

TGIF!! I am soooo glad Friday is finally here! I can't wait to spend the evening with my son, and the day with my girlfriend Heather on Saturday! YAY for weekends!!!

It's Friday again! Holy smokes the weeks are just flying by!! I can't believe we are already nearing the end of July! Where is summer going so fast?!?!

Friday means it's Sketch Frenzy time! W00t! Here is this week's sketch...

And here is what I was inspired to create...

I really like this one. It's so bright and vibrant and would make a great all occasion card! You could send it for so many reasons!! The color combo here is: Early Espresso, Real Red, Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight....with some base Whisper White thrown in too! I used one of the stamps from Circle Circus and the sentiment is from Hello Again. I used some Real Red Satin Ribbon and a couple of Rhinestones and finished it off with some dry embossing...aaaah sweet Big Shot....how I love you so :)

Good afternoon Stampers!! I have just finished playing around with the LNS Sketch challenge for the week and thought I would show you what I came up with! I am ALMOST as in love with this new DSP as I am Concord Crush......but of course Purple ALWAYS takes the lead in my heart :)

I have also once again reached for that sentiment out of the new "Perfect Punches" Stamp set featured in the new catalogue....I love that Birthday sentiment as well! Have you seen the set?? It is soooo versatile!! And easy-peesy to use too, since it works with our punches!!

Anyhoo....I am off to put the finishing touches on my Card Buffet for this Saturday evening......I still have a few spots left too if you are thinking about joining us!!

I know I am SUPER late making this post.....I have been hiding out in my basement trying to ignore the storms that have been blowing in and out this evening!! We were pummeled by heavy rain, winds and the thunder and lightning show was crazy!! I dislike these storms...I am always afraid a tornado will follow closely behind!

Anyway, that being said....I have a pretty easy one for ya today :) I wanted to take a chance to show off some of the new paper, and colors that are coming out.....SO....YOUR mission, should you chose to accept it......show me your creations using something NEW! Maybe you have been hoarding some paper you don't want to open yet.....or just got a fancy new punch....whatever the case may be, I know we ALL have something that is NEW!!

Happy Friday Girls!! It was a nuts-o one around here!!!! And I am super duper late posting my card for this round.....so sorry to all!! I spent the entire day re-vamping my craft room and getting it all ready for the new color collections and removing stuff about to retire.....and of course.....LABELLING EVERYTHING!! (You all know me well enough to know EVERYTHING has a label by now......;)

There are a few things I LOVE LOVE LOVE about this card!! The most obvious of course, is Circle Circus. I HEART that stamp set!! I am also showing you a sneak peak at one of the stamps from an upcoming set in the new Catty that will go live July 1st. But most importantly.......THE COLORS!!!!!! Sneak peak at a few of the new colors for ya'll!! Aren't they lovely?!?!?!?! I happen to LOVE this specific combo I used here.....I am certain it will make an appearance again!

I love my scrap box. It rules!! I actually have it sorted and organized quite nicely. And my DSP is filed separately from my card stock. And I have ALOT of scraps.....trust me.....I throw NOTHING out....Lol!!

Anyway, I found this great retired DSP and knew it was perfect for my next card of the day.....so perfect I actually made TWO! Sometimes we just gotta go back to our old faves, don't we?!?!

Hi Girlz!! Hope everyone is enjoying the last couple weeks of school......and then it's SUMMERTIME!! w00t w00t!!

My son is finishing up Jr. High this year and off to Highschool in the fall.....I am not really sure where the years have gone, but wow they sure fly by fast, don't they?!?!

Sooooo........in the spirit of Graduation.........be it Jr. Grad, Sr. Grad or College/University Grad......SHOW ME THOSE GRAD CARDS BABY!!!

Here is the one that I have made for my son.......I loosley followed a tutorial I found online to make a Suit & Tie Father's Day card! I am LOVIN this card :)

Fairwell Stamp Club Girls!!

Last Saturday was the final get together for my most recent stamp club. I will miss the girls......but we had a fun fair well! We ordered in Pizza and everyone brought a different Sundae topping and we made homemade Sundaes for desert! And of course, we made cards.....Our hostess wanted to do Mother's Day Cards so these are what we made!!

My next Stamp Club will be held on Sunday Afternoons and we will be starting in May! There are still a few seats left so if you would like to join us please let me know :)

Sometimes inspiration can come to us in the most unexpected ways. That is what is so great about this hobby we all have and love so much! Inspiration makes it EASY!

I have had my cousin's little girl here for the past 3 days and she is so fun and so sweet.........and so much work when you are just used to one teenager who wants nothing to do with you.....LOL!But, the point is........I have little girl clothes on the BRAIN!

Soooooooo................my challenge for you today is to take this ADORABLE vintage baby dress and use it as inspiration for a card, layout or whatever other crafty project you may be working on!!

My husband is away this Valentine's Day so I am spending the evening Stamping instead of with him....and I have already finished up 2 cards! YAY! My girlfriend Heather and I are actually stamping together, virtually! We do this every once in awhile......when we can't get together to stamp in person :)

Good afternoon Stampers! I spent some time down in my craft room today, making a couple of cards and preparing for a couple of swaps I am playing along with. It felt good to get inky and I am planning on heading back down there as soon as we are finished with supper!

For now though, I wanted to share with you a couple of cards that I made so far! I played along with a sketch challenge posted over at Card Positioning Systems for this first one...

And then I used up some of the leftover supplies from my Stamp Club class on Sunday night and created another variation of one of the cards we made!

Hello ladies!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I sure did, I was locked up in my scrap room the whole time!! w000t! Nothing better than a scrappy weekend!!

Here is a little Motivational Challenge for you, for Monday! Please remember to post links to pictures in the comments section if you choose to play along! There is a fabulous prize up for grabs this time, so get your stamps out and your thinking caps on..........and STAMP your Monday evening away :)

Your mission, should you choose to accept it.......is a Monochromatic Masculine card!!! What the heck is monochromatic you ask?!?! Simple.....choose 1 color....maybe green, or blue for the masculine theme and add in a neutral or two (like Whisper white or Kraft) and you are set!! Remember that you can use different shades of your selected color.....so maybe Night of Navy and Bashful blue do something for you! The main goal is just ONE color......with a neutral or two thrown in for some POP!

We don't really celebrate Halloween at our house anymore now that my son is too old to go trick-or-treating, but I joined a fun swap on SCS that had me making Halloween cards tonight! It was called a Grab Bag swap and how it works is each person makes up a card kit, with a theme of there choice and mails one kit out to each person in the group. We then have to make 1 card for 3 people in the group and mail it out to them! It's a fun way to see and play with some new papers and/or stamp sets you might not already have!

This month the Hostess selected a Halloween theme and here are the cards I made using the supplies she sent me:

Good afternoon ladies!! I have finally found some free time to stamp.......and all I had to do was quit my job to find it! :) HAHA......yes, that is right.......I quit my job! Now I have plenty of time to stamp and try new things...........until I find a new job of course :)

Last night I had a friend over and between visiting and eating junk food I was able to FINALLY try out one of Michelle Zindorf's awesome tutorials! Have you ever seen her tutorials? They are AMAZING!!!!

Anyway.....here is the card that I made using her tutorial.....I can't wait to try more!!

Hi ladies!! I am so excited to be starting up my first Scrapbooking club, and I am going to be doing this a little differently from my Stamp Club! This club will be run as a NON-COMITTMENT club, and will run for a period of six months. Here is the info:

SCRAPBOOK CLUB (1st night to be determined):

Once a month we will get together and make a 2 page 12x12 Scrapbook layout, while learning different techniques and using different products from the Stampin` Up! catalogue.

8 spots available

Only $20 each month with the option of purchasing from the catalogue.(Cost includes all supplies, except adhesive, refreshments and door prizes)

Club members who place an order on the club night of $40 or more before shipping and handling) receive the class for free, but NO PURCHASE is neccessary!

I am so glad I am finally starting to feel better! I am just sorry I had to miss coffee with Brandy on Wednesday, and then "COFFEE" with Mel on Thursday too! I had a really nice evening with DH tonight though :) Time to enjoy another weekend, that is going to fly by WAY to fast......and then back-to-school MONDAY!! w00t!!

A Color Challenge...

I played along with a challenge over on the SCS boards tonight...a color challenge :) The colors used are Green Galore and Gable Green. I added a little bling, and kept it pretty simple...I think it might make a nice wedding card! Let me know what you think, and feel free to pull out your greens and play along too! I am so excited to be doing my very first punch art class! I hope that you will be able to join me, as I show you new and exciting ways to use your punches! For this class, I will be focusing on the Large and Small Oval Punches!! (There may even be the odd circle punch thrown in, just for fun ;)

And I am sitting at my desk at work, drooling over it! I am already madly in love with the new In Colors and I am soooo excited that we can purchase them in markers now too!! w00t!! Now if only we could go back in time, and re-order the past in colors in markers as well...

But alas, I am so excited to start brainstorming project ideas and classes with the new product! There are so many great new stamp sets that I have already forgotten all about the retired list!! What is that saying they say? Out with the old, and in with the new!!

I have catalogues available now, for your viewing pleasure, and am in the process of setting up my next stamp club!
